18kt gold lozenge brooch with cabochon garnet. A rhomboid brooch decorated with plant elements and gold pearls in a distinctive arrangement of hollows inspired by scallops, with a symmetrical and balanced composition. In the center, surrounded by gold bands (concave, fine cord, etc.), is a smooth, oval garnet with an eight-pointed star in the center highlighted by white elements (a larger pearl in the center surrounded by eight smaller ones) contrasting and highlighting the gem. The back features a distinctive figurative decoration depicting a hunting dog carrying a bird in its jaws. Weight: 14.60 grams.
