The pedestal, with a square section, has been decorated with garlands on its fronts The vase, which presents the same motif as well as gallons, has inside a series of leaves, flowers and fruits spat on different marbles to provide greater realism. This type of works, of classical inspiration, were widely used in the decoration of ancient gardens since the Renaissance.
