Chinese wardrobe of the nineteenth century.
Lacquered wood.
Lacquered wood wardrobe, the most used technique in Chinese furniture since the Ming dynasty. It is characterized by its solid, functional and simple structure, designed to offer large flat surfaces that allow the lacquered scenes to unfold freely. The doors occupy a relatively small surface with respect to the general volume of the cabinet, something however relatively common in the Chinese furniture of this type"
