Pair of candlesticks. Calamine. Possibly France, 19th century. A pair of candlesticks made of corrugated iron that preserve traces of polychromy and have two circular bases on which two figures are placed, dressed in Roman style according to the romantic vision of the 19th century, each holding a vase on one of their shoulders. This type of piece was highly appreciated for interior decoration, both for its subject matter and for its quality in design and execution.
