Decorative Antiques - Miscellaneous
Reference: Z4834

Convoy of cruets. Contrast by García Calvo, Valladolid, 1900. With contrast markings. Glass and silver. Silver convoy formed by a base on large pearls and with a central axis topped by a ring and another ball. The simplicity of the lines brings the work closer to aesthetic approaches more characteristic of the 20th century, and is continued and highlighted thanks to the two glass bottles, which have supports for the caps. The baseline marks place the work carried out in Valladolid; The one in the center would be that of the silversmith and the one on the left would be that of García Calvo, who worked as a contrast in the city towards the beginning of the 20th century. Weight: 380 grams.
