Pair of bases for snuffers. Silver. XIX century.
Two bases for snuffers made of silver in its color of the type known as "Doric column" or "with grooved shaft", with circular base, decoration of moldings and body in the shape of an umbrella and sharp edges. This typology was common for a time in Spanish silverware, with dates depending on the geographic center. Compare, for example, the snuffers with sheaths from the Real Martínez Silver Factory dated 1838 from the Madrid History Museum. Weight: 397 grams."
