Lemongrass sewing kit. The sewing box is located on cabriole legs joined with an X-shape, with a folding lid and a drawer. Inside, it has three compartments and a mirror. The fronts are decorated with stylized plant shapes, inspired by classic European furniture decorations. The legs follow characteristic Rococo models; Lemongrass wood was usually used for inlay work, while in this example its tone is used on the entire surface except for the darker decoration, a color combination reminiscent of examples such as Boulle-style marquetry. The arrangement of the spaces inside make this piece of furniture a perfect piece for interior decoration.

Queen Anne dresser with mirror.
