Bed. Bronze. Around 1900. Bed frame made of bronze, with the headboard, footboard and side crossbars gilded. The headboard and footboard, similar to each other, have rollers or wheels on the legs, and present an elaborate decoration both on the vertical sides (channeled shapes with balustraded elements decorated with plant and architectural elements) and on the top (delicate composition of scrolls, leaves and flowers). These decorative elements present a clear classicist influence along with a slight reminder of modernist or Art Decò forms.

Elizabethan sofa. Mahogany wood, textile. Spain, 19th century. Sofa or lounge chair made of carved mahogany wood with textile in yellow or gold tones inside and outside, and soft upholstery with buttons on the inside of the backrest. The legs, with a slight chambrana shape, and the base have a simple decoration based on carved geometric elements, while the high backrests have somewhat more elaborate plant upholstery. This type of furniture, with a strong French influence, was common in the Elizabethan period, a style so called because the reign of Elizabeth II (1830-1904) was its peak moment.

Armchair or chair made of carved walnut wood with an upholstered seat that has a high backrest, openwork and decorated with simplified architectural and vegetal elements, wavy arms finished in a volute and joined to the back and the seat, front legs shaped like a cabriolet and finished in claws with spheres, and straight hind legs secured with a smooth shell. The seat has a cut-out decoration in its lower area. Aesthetically, it is reminiscent of English school furniture in certain details, but, as is common in 18th century Spanish cabinetmaking, it also presents French influence.

Ceiling lamp with a gilded bronze structure decorated with architectural and plant elements of clear classicist influence, which has twelve light points (in the shape of a candle and a glass saucer), and a series of transparent glass beads, some joined in chains and others in the shape of hanging tears. The similarity between this lamp and French models from the 19th century is clear.

Miniature friar armchair. Wood, leather, metal. Spanish school, 19th century. Armchair with arms and a high back of the type known as frailero that has chambrances on the legs joining the rear legs to the front legs and middle chambrances or stringers in the front with carved vegetal and architectural elements. The legs have a vegetal carving that extends through the arms, in the volutes of the fronts. The backrest and seat have leather upholstery (the backrest is embossed with plant elements), metal studs and textile fringe. The friar armchair, initially of Italian origin, became one of the most common pieces of Spanish furniture since its introduction in the 16th century, being characteristic of this and the 17th century and being recovered again in the historicist current of the 19th century. Being a tradition so deeply rooted in Spain, these types of models have never stopped being created.

Lamp. Bronze. XIX century.
Lamp with a circular glass decorated with a series of classicist decorative moldings in the lower part and an oval shape from which a ring hangs, and another molding in the upper part uniting three winged angel heads. From the back of these three chains of polygonal links emerge that go to one piece through a decoration of palms and scrolls, which ends in a ring to go to the ceiling. Also sometimes known as votive lamps due to their frequent presence in churches, these types of lamps were outstanding pieces. Compare, for example, with that of San Antonio de la Florida (Madrid) by Domingo Urquiza dated 1799."

Marble dust. 20th century, following the CANOVA model, Antonio Relief made of marble powder with polychrome, enhanced with a somewhat modern frame that closely follows a fresco by Antonio Canova (The Graces and Venus dancing before Mars, 1799, Antonio Canova Museum and Glyptoteca, Possagno, Treviso). The present work includes the three Graces, accompanied by Venus, who appears playing a lyre, under a series of garlands with lacework.
