Patinated bronze bookends. “Elephant trumpeting.” Inspired by models by Ary Bitter (1883-1960). Lost wax casting. Supported on a base that extends into an L shape, the figure of the elephant is placed, with its back against the vertical crossbar and only three legs supported. He raises his trunk to trumpet, giving the impression that he is pushing hard. It is inspired by models by Ary Bitter, a French designer, painter and sculptor highly appreciated for his animal sculptures. Weight: 3.45 kg
