Pair of candlesticks. Calamine. Possibly France, 19th century. Pair of candlesticks made of calamine that preserve remains of polychrome and have circular bases on which two figures dressed in the Roman style according to the romantic vision of the 19th century stand, each holding a vase on one of their shoulders. These types of pieces were highly appreciated for interior decoration, both for their theme and for their quality in design and execution.
