“serviteur muet” pedestal table. 20th century, following 19th century models. Mahogany wood, marquetry, bronze. Circular pedestal table with three legs emerging from a single stem decorated with geometric marquetry elements on the wood and an openwork railing marking the upper board and the smaller circumference board that emerges from it. Clearly, the furniture is inspired by 19th century French examples, both in its design and in the materials and delicacy of execution.
