WOOD AND WROUGHT IRON RUSTIC CHEST.

Rustic ark. Solid wood, wrought iron. Twentieth century. Rectangular ark with a flat top with wrought iron fittings (handles, corners, ornaments and lock on the front) raised on legs finished with wooden disc wheels. Inside, it has a space with a flat lid on one side for better organization of the content. On the outside, it has a small drawer in front. This type of pieces, designed to store objects with a certain value, have been made in Spain since the Gothic period following a typology very similar to that of the present piece.
