“Couple of birds.” Framed watercolor. Twentieth century. Framed watercolor showing a pair of parrots or cockatoos perched on a branch with leaves, without other reference to any type of landscape and following the style of drawings and works of art that were common in ornithology books since the 19th century. The animals that appear are probably a pair of Galah cockatoos, widespread in Australia.
