Candlestick. Bronze. 19th century. Bronze candlestick decorated with vegetal and scallop-shaped motifs in slight relief. Both the base and the balustraded stem with a disc, as well as the upper part, feature a series of curves in their profiles that show the influence of 18th-century Rococo work. It was common in 19th-century European silversmithing to draw inspiration from past styles, adapting them to contemporary tastes.
