Pair of violet players from the 19th century. Calamine. Pair of sculptural violet holders made of calamine, of Rococo inspiration. The vessels have a sinuous profile, and appear entirely covered by relief rockery decorations. The figures that support them, two classic “putti”, are worked with naturalism both in the modeling and in their position and movement.
