Oriental furniture. Carved and polychrome wood, metal. Circa the early 20th century. A carved, polychrome, and gilded wooden cabinet with three upper compartments, a continuous lower compartment of the same length as another located directly above two doors that open onto two shelves. Both the carved decoration, featuring geometric and vegetal motifs, and the arrangement of compartments, drawers, and fittings show a strong influence of ancient Chinese designs.
