Pair of wall sconces. Bronze, glass. Empire style, France, circa 1900. Both are virtually identical; each wall sconce features three light points and a design and lines that reflect the classical influence of the style to which they belong. Note the palm fronds, scrolls, smooth moldings, etc. This type of lighting fixture was common in prominent interiors.
