Three-part silver spice rack. 19th century. Spice rack composed of three sections with tapered edges, designed to fit together and join in a chamfered half-oval at the top. It is decorated with simple lines, typical of a 19th-century work influenced by Neoclassicism. This type of spice rack is reminiscent of the so-called "tower" spice racks of the Renaissance, but much simpler in design. Weight: 150 grams.
