Centerpiece. Glazed ceramic. Possibly Lunéville (France), 19th century. With marks on the base. A centrepiece with a circular base and an oval body decorated on the inside with small bouquets of flowers and on the outside with an elaborate composition based on architectural and plant elements enhanced with touches of colour and gold, reminiscent in its movement and curves of 18th century Rococo works. The “Luneville Faience” factory has been one of the main French ceramic manufacturers practically since its foundation in Lunéville (Lorraine, France) in 1730.
