Set of four oil landscapes. Each painting depicts a different landscape, all featuring human figures, animals, buildings, and clothing reminiscent of Northern European fashion from the 18th century, or even earlier. Two of them include buildings with classical undertones (the bridge with the sculpture and that arch-like structure), but they appear as if conceived by someone who had never seen these elements in reality. While it might be assumed that the landscapes are meant to represent Italy, as this country was a popular destination for young people on the Grand Tour (which flourished between the mid-17th century and the 1820s), Price per unit
