Horse and dogs with pages, relief. Molded and polychromed alabaster. 20th century, following a model by Andrea Mantegna (circa 1431-1506). Relief with a frame decorated with classical influences (moldings, candelabra, etc.) made of polychrome marble dust. It depicts a figurative scene: a richly caparisoned horse with a page, two large dogs, and another male figure. Aesthetically, it is inspired by a fresco by Andrea Mantegna, located on the west wall of the Camera degli Sposi in the Ducal Palace of Mantua (Italy), painted between 1465 and 1474. Weight: 30 kg.
