Odysseus and Circe, relief. Modeled alabaster. 20th century, following a model by Spranger, Bartholomäus (1546-1611). A panel with a figurative relief and a fine frame surrounding it, made of molded polychrome alabaster, depicting a mythological theme. Circe appears accompanied by Odysseus, dressed in classical armor, in a natural setting. The work is inspired by a painting by Bartholomeus Spranger, which is held in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Austria. Weight: 5 kg.
