Odysseus and Circe, relief. Modeled alabaster. 20th century, following the model of SPRANGER, Bartholomäus (1546-1611). Panel with figurative relief and a fine frame around it made of alabaster molded with polychrome that presents a mythological theme. Circe appears accompanied by Odysseus, dressed in classical armor, in a natural setting. The work is inspired by a painting by Barolomeo or Bartholomeus Spranger that is kept in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna (Austria). Weight: 5kg.
