Corona typewriter with case and Polish sticker. First half of the 20th century. Typewriter with carrying case featuring an external handle and latches. As can be deduced from the names on it, it is from the Corona Typewriter Company, Inc., Groton, NY, USA. One of the best-known models is the Model 3, which began production in 1912. Interestingly, this particular typewriter displays a sticker that has been linked to a Polish repair shop known to have been in operation in 1937.

Firebox. Carved walnut wood. 19th century. A circular brazier stand made of carved walnut wood, featuring simple legs to raise it slightly off the floor and thus distribute heat more evenly throughout the room. These types of stands were very common in interiors until the invention and widespread adoption of other heating systems. However, they are rarely preserved due to their purely utilitarian purpose and their replacement by more modern alternatives as tastes changed or the original deteriorated.

Eduardo Chao (Ribadavia, 1822–Madrid, 1887) was a Spanish naturalist, geologist, journalist, politician, and historian who also worked as a professor of pharmacy in Madrid. He contributed to several newspapers, directed the two volumes of the Diccionario enciclopédico de la lengua española (Madrid: Gaspar y Roig, 1853 and 1855), a nine-volume encyclopedia of natural sciences, and other works.

"Thousand-faced" fan in a fan case. Paper, lacquered wood, wood and glass… Canton, China, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912). It has faults. A fan case containing a paper fan decorated with a painting depicting a courtly scene with richly attired oriental figures, framed by a border with architectural elements and other objects. The sticks, made of lacquered wood with gilt details, feature floral motifs and, again, another courtly garden scene with pavilions and figures. These types of fans were made in China for export to Europe and were very popular during the 19th century.

Three birds. Glazed porcelain. Possibly ARA Manises, Valencia, Spain, 20th century. They marked the base. One has traces of a label. Three distinct birds perch on tree stumps and rocks in each of the three glazed porcelain figurines. Each piece features a white base decorated with touches of gold and elements reminiscent of antique European pieces. The initials AR are displayed on the base, and one of the figurines includes a label that reads “ARA”.

In two volumes, The Disinherited. Misadventures of Life. FERNÁNDEZ Y GONZÁLEZ, Manuel. Manini Brothers Printing and Literary Establishment, Publishers, Madrid, 1865 (vol. 1) and 1866 (vol. 2). They show signs of damage. A novel bound in two volumes by Manuel Fernández y González (Seville, 1821–Madrid, 1888), a well-known and highly regarded Spanish writer, primarily known for his serialized novels, though he also worked as a theater critic. Experts attribute to him between 170 and 200 novels, some 30 plays, theater criticism, poetry in the style of José Zorrilla, and a few dramas. With this novel, he paid tribute to costumbrismo (the genre of local customs and traditions).
