Centerpiece or planter. Tin, metal. Victor Saglier, towards the end of the 19th century. With marks on the base. Oval centerpiece with an interior tray and handles, decorated on the exterior with a fine relief of curved moldings depicting handles and legs, and a composition of leaves and fruit on the front and sides. Stylistically, it reflects Art Nouveau models. Victor Saglier (1809-1894) was a master goldsmith active in Paris, France, highly regarded for his Art Nouveau work, creating pieces for Majorelle and Gallé. Upon his death, the company became Saglier Frères, then run by his brothers Eguène and André until the latter's death in 1948.

Coffee set. Glazed porcelain. Royal Vienna, Austria, early 20th century. With marks on the base of pieces. Two broken cups. This glazed porcelain coffee set comprises a tray, six cups and saucers, a lidded sugar bowl, and a lidded carafe. While the classical influence is evident in the piece (gold garlands, shapes, plant motifs, colors, etc.), it's worth noting that the tray was inspired by George Sheridan Knowles' 1908 oil painting, "Summer Pleasures on the River." The term "Royal Vienna" refers to a specific style of porcelain associated with the porcelain manufactured in Vienna (Kaiserlich privilegierte Porcellain Fabrique), founded in 1718 by Claude du Paquier, an official of the Viennese imperial court. The factory closed in 1864, but its name was revived by the Augarten Vienna Porcelain Factory in 1923.

Devotional plaque, Saint Anthony of Padua. Bronze. Spanish School, 17th century. An oval-shaped devotional plaque made of bronze, featuring a ring at the top, a molded frame with an inner band of simple geometric motifs, and a figurative relief on the front. It depicts a man in a habit, standing, holding a book in one hand (on which the Christ Child is depicted) and a cross in the other, resting on his shoulder. Two pedestals are shown, one with a skull and the other with books. Compare with the rectangular plaque in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (inventory 2012.545.12), which dates from the early 17th century.

Group, Order of Malta. Spain, possibly towards the beginning of the 20th century. Tricorn hat with label from the tailor shop Félix del Hierro, which was located on Barquillo Street in Madrid (Spain) and had another branch on Almirante Street in the same city. It is known to have been active until at least 1946. The set also includes a pair of epaulettes with the Order's insignia in enamel (like the tricorn hat) and a dress belt or sash that also features the emblem on the buckle. The Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta (SMOM), known simply as the Order of Malta or Knights Hospitaller, was recognized by Pope Paschal II in 1113. After having provisional headquarters in Messina, Catania, and Ferrara, the Order finally settled in Rome in 1834. During the 20th century, the Order refocused on its mission of providing hospital care.

Casa Marín Hermanos was founded in 1896 by Vicente and José María, who had previously worked as traveling salesmen for Jerez brands. Records show that they were awarded a Gold Medal at the 1896 Lugo Regional Exhibition. The specialties mentioned on the poster (Amontillado Tres Cortados and Los Dos Hermanos) are listed in R. Mena y Sobrino's "Reseña de Bodegas de Jerez" (Jerez, Litografía Jerezana Vicario, 1900). The poster was printed by Manes & Co. of Berlin, Germany.

Originating in 1771 (the year Francisco de Soto arrived in Jerez and established himself as a wine grower and warehouseman on Caldereros Street), the José de Soto wineries were officially founded in 1888. In 1821, José de Soto y Entresoto acquired a winery on Benavente Street in Jerez. His descendant, José de Soto Ruiz, created “Ponche Soto” in 1881, beginning the export business in 1888 and receiving numerous awards (Gold Medals and Diplomas of Honor at the International Expositions in London and Brussels in 1892, Bordeaux in 1895, Paris in 1900, Madrid in 1890, 1897 and 1907, and Barcelona in 1915), in addition to being a supplier to the Royal Household from 1919.

Miguel Morales y Morales (Arcos 1826) and Cayetana Ubreva Bardayo (1840-1920) were the parents of José María de Morales, who had nine siblings and a wine cellar mainly used for storage on Ávila Street in Jerez. He was known, above all, for the brandy called “Uno, Dos y Tres Racimos” and died at the age of 38, although his widow maintained the business until 1909. There is evidence of a photograph entitled “Interior of the extraction and bottling cellar of the widow's house of José María de Morales, Jerez, Directed by Mr. Aureliano Valenzuela Pérez”, dated January 6, 1908, which would have appeared in the ABC newspaper.
