Octagonal side table. Rosewood wood. France, 19th century. Side table with a straight octagonal top, made of rosewood combined with another of a different tone to enhance the first. The four legs, turned with lines, are joined with a flat rhomboidal frame. The decoration has been reduced to enhance the quality of the the wood and the clean lines of the furniture, which is why there are no gilded bronze applications, which are common in French furniture.

Figures with a soldier. Oil on canvas. 20th century. In this oil painting, a series of humble figures of all ages are placed to the right, and a soldier on horseback with his back to the viewer (a detail that, together with his posture, prevents any possibility of a heroic sense in the work); in the background, ruins with rocks occupy most of the canvas, leaving an opening to the horizon and a light of dawn to the left. Both in the types and in the composition and the ruins, the influence of ancient Flemish models in the painting is clear.

Castilian style chair with leather backrest and seat fixed to the carved walnut wood frame with metal studs. It has a carved front frame, drawing curves and leaving a circle in the centre, and two other smooth frames joining the front and back legs. It is inspired by old Castilian furniture, this being a common type in old Spanish cabinetmaking.

Telephone for use in a mine or on a ship and to be attached to a wall or vertical surface consisting of a metal box to protect the machinery and the handset, which is attached to one side of the box, with the cord or cable emerging from below (next to the line socket); on the other side is the usual crank in the model. These types of pieces were made with certain materials and shapes, prioritising their usefulness and resistance but without completely forgetting an aesthetic aspect that can be appreciated in the lines of the box, etc. and which is appreciated today.

Bust of Ramón Aranaz (Valencia 1831-Madrid 1898), businessman, banker and Valencian politician, dressed in a suit and with a ribbon across his chest. The sculptor, Antonio Yerro, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia, and won various prizes at exhibitions such as the National Fine Arts Exhibition of 1884 and was awarded several decorations in recognition of his artistic merits.
