Small glazed porcelain figurine. “The Vaccine”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. On a base decorated to resemble the interior of a house, the girl sits on a chair, clutching her doll, with a bag beside her. This bag belongs to the gentleman on the right, dressed in a white coat over clothing typical of the late 18th century, and holding a syringe. The work is inspired by early creations from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).
