Pair of enameled porcelain figurines. “Young couple with flowers.” Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). The two boys have been placed on separate bases, these worked with raised seed beads highlighted with golden profiles. The lady spreads her apron to carry flowers, and has more of them in the basket hanging from her arm. The young gentleman carries a basket in his hands. The clothes, the gestures, the quality of the colors, etc. These are details that show the influence of 18th century European porcelain in the creation of this work. Specifically, relationships can be seen with figurines from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).
