Votiba Lamp. Bronze. 17th Century. A ceiling lamp of the type known as a church or chapel lamp, due to its common use in these settings, which burns oil and features a series of undulating elements and chains with two types of openwork links (one for the oil reservoir washer, which is missing, and another to join the two upper and lower parts of which it is composed). Compare with examples such as a 19th-century lamp preserved in the El Greco Museum in Toledo (Spain), several in the Museum of Sacred Art in Bilbao, etc.
