Cupid playing the drum. Biscuit, bronze. Twentieth century. Biscuit figure located on a gilt bronze base decorated with architectural and vegetal elements of classicist taste that shows a semi-naked Cupid, wearing a tricorn hat and playing a hollow drum. It has an incised mark on the base. These types of figures were common in European factories since the 18th century, showing the god of love from classical mythology in disguise and in different attitudes. Weight: 0.373 kg.
