Landscape. Painting on framed oval glass. XIX century. The landscape presents a lake or important watercourse, surrounded by high hills and forests, with houses, some ruins of a castle and several small, barely detailed characters animating and bringing life to the composition. Although it could recall in some details the oldest landscape tradition, in the treatment and other elements it is possible to link it with developments in 19th century painting.
