Divan sofa. Mahogany wood, upholstered. 19th century. Mahogany divan with upholstered seat, S-shaped or half-lyre-shaped curved arms, and flat cabriole legs ending in scrolls. While the lines are reminiscent of French Empire-style pieces and other pieces from the first half of the 20th century, certain similarities can also be found with 19th-century Spanish Isabeline divans.
