Fernandina table bracket. Bronze, wood. Spain, time of Ferdinand VII, around 1814-1833. Auxiliary table created to be attached to a wall and rest on a single leg made of wood, with a straight top board, curved front and decorations with a strong neoclassicist and French Empire influence (appliqués on the front, shape of the leg, composition). In Spain, the Fernandino Style is known as the style that can be found in the decorative arts during the reign of Ferdinand VII (1814-1833), after the Empire Style and just before the Elizabethan Style, being equivalent according to some experts to the French Restoration style and the English Regency.
