Swan, table base for glass. Marble and bronze. 20th century. A bronze table base in the shape of a swan taking flight from a water surface, set on an oval base of dark marble. The figure, in some details, is more reminiscent of 19th-century examples found, for instance, on French Empire-era clocks, than of more typical 20th-century works.
