Pair of water jugs made of glazed ceramic in brown tones, with inscriptions and drawings in a lighter tone, showing the well-known characters Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, from the novel by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Don Quixote of La Mancha, the first part of which was published in 1605 with the title The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, and the continuation in 1615.
