Mirror. Carved and gilded mother. 20th century. Large mirror with a carved and gilded wooden frame decorated with a series of classically influenced decorative elements reminiscent of 19th-century French examples. Certain details (the way in which openwork moldings and scrolls are combined, the openwork curves of the crest, etc.) would, however, place it under the influence of certain artistic styles that emerged around 1900 in Europe.
