Necklace with Mexican agate plaques. A necklace made with cords in different shades, which help to position and highlight the beads that compose it: flat circular discs alternate with dark spherical beads, emphasizing the lines of the former; at the front is a triangular piece, in which white and transparent areas alternate with red, yellow, white, etc. zones. Agate has been a common stone throughout history for the properties attributed to it (Egyptian agate was effective against the bites of certain animals, the stone in general brought longevity in other cultures, etc.) and for its striking appearance (often used in both sculptures and Egyptian mummies for the eyes, carved to create remarkable pieces such as the Chalice of Valencia or the cameos of Ancient Rome, etc.).

Isabeline style chair. Wood, fabric. Spain, 19th century. A carved and polychrome wooden chair with cabriole legs and a pierced back decorated with a symmetrical composition reminiscent of the Rococo style in some details and Neoclassical elements in others. The Isabelline style developed in Spain during the reign of Isabella II, continuing until the end of the 19th century. The furniture, which prioritized comfort and a degree of ostentation (using relatively inexpensive materials and techniques), interpreted the French Baroque, Rococo, and Neoclassical styles in its own way, with proportions, techniques, and details specific to 19th-century Spain, and a predominance of gilding, polychromy, carvings, and other decorative elements.

A tandem bicycle painted red with the shop's sign on the front (Ciclos Myquel; Palma, 13; Madrid), featuring a rear seat designed specifically for women (its shape allows for wearing a long skirt). Coffee set. Glazed porcelain. Royal Vienna, Austria, early 20th century. With marks on the base of pieces. Two broken cups. This glazed porcelain coffee set comprises a tray, six cups and saucers, a lidded sugar bowl, and a lidded carafe. While the classical influence is evident in the piece (gold garlands, shapes, plant motifs, colors, etc.), it's worth noting that the tray was inspired by George Sheridan Knowles' 1908 oil painting, "Summer Pleasures on the River." The term "Royal Vienna" refers to a specific style of porcelain associated with the porcelain manufactured in Vienna (Kaiserlich privilegierte Porcellain Fabrique), founded in 1718 by Claude du Paquier, an official of the Viennese imperial court. The factory closed in 1864, but its name was revived by the Augarten Vienna Porcelain Factory in 1923.
