Landscape. Oil on hardboard. 20th century. A mountainous landscape executed in a very loose technique, with a clear predominance of color and brushwork (bold, with variations in impasto, and dynamic) over drawing, which is practically absent from the composition. The artist also plays with light and shadow and the way these influence the subject depicted. The influence of certain innovations introduced by the avant-garde movements that began to emerge from the late 19th century (Impressionism, etc.) is evident.
