Enameled porcelain figurine. “Pair of shepherds”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. The scene is set in a highly idealized natural environment, as is typical of this type of bucolic composition, which has been highly valued in art since the 18th century. A ram, a basket of flowers, and a birdcage complete the composition, in which the figures are dressed in the fashion of the upper class at the end of the 18th century. The figure is inspired by works produced by the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). Weight: 1.5 kg
