Small glazed porcelain figurine. “Young couple”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. The young woman is seated, holding a basket of flowers and wearing a garland at the hem of her dress. A handsome young man leans towards her. The figurine's subject matter is the two doves joining their beaks. The theme, the high quality of the enameling and the colors used, and the delicacy of the gestures and forms clearly show influences from antique porcelain produced by the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).
