Candlestick with triangular base. Bronze. Spain, 18th century. A bronze candlestick with a triangular base raised on three legs and embellished with moldings, a balustraded shaft with discs of varying diameters, and a similarly decorated upper section, precisely in the area used for the candle. This type of item was common in the 18th century, both in important private homes and in monasteries, convents, churches, etc., and this particular piece represents a very common style in Spain at that time.
