Andiron. Wrought iron. Century XVI. Morillo made of wrought iron of the type usually used for cooking in large homes or fireplaces. It has a series of upward hooks to be able to place roasting spits when the andirons are placed in pairs, and a semicircular “plate” to place a stew or similar.
