Still life with fruit. Oil on canvas. Spanish School, 19th century. A still life of assorted fruits arranged on a simple horizontal surface, accompanied by a light-colored vase of flowers and two other ceramic pieces towards the right of the composition. Clearly, the work is inspired by 17th-century Spanish Baroque still lifes, not the austere ones (like Zurbarán's), but rather those produced when the influence of Flemish still lifes (much more complex and full of detail, figures, etc.) took hold.
