Reference: ZA6649
“The Court of Cleopatra” and “The Queen of Sheba before Solomon.” Framed illustrations. Following the model of Emanuel Oberhauser. Early 20th century. The work entitled “The Court of Cleopatra” is a photogravure inspired by a work by Emanuel Oberhauser (note the “signature” and the inscription under the image) published by Louis Wolf around 1906 (indicated above the image), and subsequently colored. The one entitled “La Reine de Saba rendant visite à Salomon” is based on another painting by the same master as the previous one, and is another photogravure also published by Louis Wolf, probably at a similar date, and also colored.
