Shalabhanjika, woman or yakshi with tree. Carved stone. Hindu school, 20th century. In Indian art, the term salabhanjika or shalabhanjika refers, among other things, to an image of a woman or yakshi (a kind of female spirit related to nature) next to, or holding, a tree, or a reference to Maya near the "sala" tree giving birth to Siddhartha (Buddha).
