Axeman. Iron. Spanish school, circa 1900. A wrought iron axe-shaped piece with three legs forming lobed lines ending in shells or scallops, a molded axle with discs, and a top section cut out with highly simplified plant motifs. Aesthetically, the work is inspired by the historicist style common in the Spanish school between the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries. Weight: 2.6 kg.
