Set consisting of two high-back armchairs with arms and a sofa similar to the other two pieces, all three upholstered in red. The carved and gilded wood shows a series of elements (dice with flowers, architectural details, scrolls...) that are reminiscent of examples of 19th century French Neoclassicism (Empire style, etc.).

Bed. Bronze. Around 1900. Bed frame made of bronze, with gilded headboard, footboard and side rails. The headboard and footboard, similar to each other, have rollers or wheels on the legs, and present an elaborate decoration both on the vertical sides (grooved shapes with balustraded elements decorated with plant and architectural elements) and on the top (delicate composition of scrolls, leaves and flowers). These decorative elements present a clear classicist influence along with a slight reminiscence of modernist or Art Decò forms.

Elizabethan sofa. Mahogany wood, textile. Spain, 19th century. Sofa or sofa made of carved mahogany wood with textile in yellow or gold tones inside and outside, and soft upholstery with buttons on the inside of the backrest. The legs, with a slight chambrana shape, and the base present a simple decoration based on carved geometric elements, while the high backs have somewhat more elaborate vegetal tufts. This type of furniture, with a strong French influence, was common in the Elizabethan period, a style so called because it was during the reign of Elizabeth II (1830-1904) its peak.

Armchair. Walnut wood, upholstery. Spanish school, 18th century. Armchair or chair made of carved walnut wood with an upholstered seat that has a high backrest, openwork and decorated with simplified architectural and vegetal elements, wavy arms finished in a volute and joined to the back and the seat, front legs shaped like a cabriolet and finished in claws with spheres, and straight hind legs secured with a smooth shell. The seat has a cut-out decoration in its lower area. Aesthetically, it is reminiscent of English school furniture in certain details, but, as is common in 18th century Spanish cabinetmaking, it also presents French influence.

Ceiling lamp, twelve lights. Bronze, glass. XIX century. Ceiling lamp with a gilded bronze structure decorated with architectural and plant elements of clear classicist influence, which has twelve light points (in the shape of a candle and a glass saucer), and a series of transparent glass beads, some joined in chains and others in the shape of hanging tears. The similarity between this lamp and French models from the 19th century is clear.

Friar armchair. Leather, wood. Spain, 16th century. It has flaws, requires restoration. Armchair with arms and high back of the type known as “frailero”, which has leather with studs in the upper part of the backrest and on the seat, low chambranas with a cut profile joining the front legs with the rear ones and middle chambranas or stringers (carved and cut the front one creating geometric motifs) joining the two front legs and the two rear ones, and simple armrests. The friar armchair, initially of Italian origin, became one of the most common pieces of Spanish furniture since its introduction in the 16th century, being characteristic of this and the 17th century and being recovered again in the historicist current of the 19th century. Being a tradition so deeply rooted in Spain, these types of models have never stopped being created.

Pair of rosewood chairs in Louis XV style. Both are the same, they stand on four legs with slight curves and carved decoration on the knees, which also appears in the center of the waist and on the top of the high backs. The French style called Louis XV, in which they are inspired, is included within the Rococo, approximately between 1725 and 1760, and is characterized by the same curves and meticulous decoration that have been softened here to adapt them to the taste of the time in which they were created. they did.

Lamp. Bronze. XIX century. Lamp with a circular glass decorated with a series of classicist decorative moldings in the lower part and an oval shape from which a ring hangs, and another molding in the upper part uniting three winged angel heads. From the back of these three chains of polygonal links emerge that go to a piece through a decoration of palms and scrolls, which ends in a ring to go to the ceiling. Also sometimes known as votive lamps due to their frequent presence in churches, these types of lamps were outstanding pieces. Compare, for example, with that of San Antonio de la Florida (Madrid) by Domingo Urquiza dated 1799.

Office table and chairs set. Walnut wood. Around 1900. Requires restorations. Furniture set consisting of an office table with a chair with arms and a high backrest, four high-backed chairs without arms and footrests, in carved walnut wood. The table, with five drawers on one of its fronts, displays a series of carvings on plant and architectural themes as Neo-Renaissance souvenirs. This same influence can be seen in the carvings on the armchair, which also features animal protomes on the arms and studded leather upholstery. The chairs in this set, again, respond to the same style, and have an upholstery on the back and seat with golden studs. The footrest has a somewhat simpler decoration.
