Pineapple-shaped table lamp, polychrome bronze. No screen. A pedestal (with simulated bricks on its fronts) elevates and highlights the pineapple that forms the body of this lamp. It is, however, a small vase with a decoration of scales to which leaves have been added to make it look more like the fruit (something for which different patinas have also been used on the bronze), and not a pine cone itself. This mix of classicist elements with other more contemporary naturalist inspired ones make the work an excellent lamp for an interior. Weight: 4.6 kg
