The lidded candy dish is openwork across almost its entire surface and adorned with roses, stems, and small flowers of various colors. This type of porcelain was highly prized in Europe from the 18th century onward, with similar models produced in several factories. Specifically, this piece was inspired by boxes from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres.
