Bronze sculpture. “Musketeer with jug”. Lost-wax casting. Marble base. On the rectangular base stands the figure of the Musketeer, seated with a jug at his feet and holding another in his hand. The emblem on his chest, the sword at his side, and his hat are the details that clearly identify him. This type of figure was very common in France, given that the corps was responsible for escorting the monarch from its creation in 1622.
