Bronze sculpture. “Musketeer with jug.” Lost wax casting. Marble base. Above the rectangular base stands the figure of the Musketeer, seated with a jug at his feet and holding a jug in his hand. The emblem on his chest, the sword at his side and the hat are the details that clearly show his identity. These types of figures were very common in France, since the body was responsible for escorting the monarch since its creation in 1622.
