Cupid in bronze and marble base, after models by August Moreau. On a round base stands the figure of Cupid, the god of love. The bronze sculpture, with the iconographic attributes corresponding to this figure from classical mythology, was created based on models by Auguste Moreau (1834-1917). This French sculptor studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and first exhibited in 1861, achieving great success at a very young age for his works, characterized by their exquisite refinement and intricate designs and poses.
